Governance & Operational Structure
Overview
This Server will function as Private prioritizing both Player Autonomy, Transparency, and Collective Governance. Ultimately the goal of this environment is to allow anyone to do anything and "express" themselves in any way, experiment with new things and interact without an Administrative Hierarchy governing their behavior. Instead of Traditional Rule Enforcement, Shared Decision Making and Transparency will govern behavior on this server.
Authority Structure
No permanent administrative authority exists. No individual holds unilateral disciplinary power. This Charter may be amended through majority vote. A player may only be removed following a supermajority vote.
Operations
Transparency
The server will run with transparency as a priority. Server console output is publicly visible via chat. No hidden administrative commands are to be used by anyone. Server logging systems (e.g., CoreProtect) are active. Logs may be referenced in anyones investigations.
Technical Maintenance
The Technical Maintenance role is limited to plugin installation and updates, backup management, and bug and explicit fixes. This role does not include governance authority.
Gameplay Framework
Core Server Settings
Semi-vanilla Minecraft experience with player freedom as the core principle.
- PvP is enabled but controlled through a PvP toggle
- Players who disable PvP cannot deal or receive player damage
- The toggle has a cooldown
- No blanket restrictions exist on base construction or destruction
- Player behaviour is regulated through transparency, social accountability, and logging systems
Combat and Equipment Rebalance
Significant changes to vanilla combat balance to create unique gameplay dynamics.
- Bow Changes: Removed enchantments: Power V
- Mace Changes: Damage set to 80%
- Diamond armour can be worn but remains uncraftable (gold/iron rebalance removed)
- Netherite armour removed
- Custom weapons with their own abilities and stat changes purchasable at spawn
- All custom weapons have their own custom model
Armour Trim Ability System
Armour trims now function as ability sets rather than purely cosmetic items.
- Each armour trim grants abilities depending on equipped pieces
- Primary Ability: Active on every armour piece
- Secondary Ability: Unlocked on the chestplate
- Full Set Bonus: Activated when wearing the complete set
- Armour trims can be upgraded using Advance Shards
- Advanced versions grant stronger abilities
- Players can recolour armour trims using: /trim <material>
Death and Item Recovery
The server uses a Soul Grave system to prevent instant item theft while preserving risk.
- When a player dies, their items are stored in a Soul Grave
- Only the player may access the grave for 10 minutes
- After the lock expires, any player may loot the grave
- The soul will emit a warning shortly before the protection expires
Economy
The server economy is entirely diamond-based with no virtual currency.
- A player's balance is determined by diamonds in inventory
- Diamonds in ender chest are also counted
- Auction House available for trading items
- All payments are made in diamonds
Food Delivery System
Players may order food through an in-game delivery system.
- Menu-based ordering
- Delivery NPC travels to the player
- Payment required upon ordering
- Reputation System for frequent users
- Frequent use increases delivery reputation
- Better food, stronger consumables, and expanded menu options unlock with reputation
EliteMobs PvE System
100 custom PvE world events featuring elite bosses with unique powers and scripted behaviour.
- World events trigger a few times per session with rare boss encounters
- EliteMobs runs a separate combat layer that only activates when fighting event bosses
- Does not affect PvP or vanilla combat - your trim builds and balance stay the same
- Events scale to your gear level for fair fights at any progression stage
- Natural elite spawns are disabled - events only trigger as world events, not from spawners
- Elite coins economy fully disabled - bosses drop diamonds instead
Quality of Life Systems
Various gameplay conveniences have been added to improve the player experience.
- Build Wands (3 tiers) for faster block placement
- Sneak while breaking logs to fell entire trees
- Players can sit on stairs
- Proximity voice chat enabled
- Villagers can be captured using Villager in a Bucket
- Spawners can be obtained with Silk Touch (50% chance)
- Players may sleep in the same bed together
